I borrowed these from MEG, because I did have some Coke last night at GOLDENCHINABUFFET. Gosh, I love that name! Anyway, I wasn't going to, but Scott would order Dr. Pepper. At least I don't keep it in the house anymore. He's supposed to be helping me -- he said he would, but I think he's putting it off until some future undisclosed date. At least at a Chinese buffet there are good food choices, so I ate pretty healthy. I am feeling much better after just the one week, and I was up for a walk to Wal-mart from the restaurant, which I normally would have refused to do, but I actually had the idea of walking at the same time he did.
Clean Sweep is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. I've been watching almost every day, and if not the decorating, I'm really loving the ideas and motivation I'm getting from it. I went through and got rid of about half of my fabric and all of my mending pile except one quilt that I will fix for Jason. Today Ian and Christopher and I are going to do an actual "Clean Sweep" of their rooms. OK, I do draw the line at furniture, because I'm not going to be re-decorating -- yet. But we're going to take everything else out including dresser drawers and stuff in the closet and put it out on the front porch and sort into keep, toss and donate. We live too far off the beaten path to have a yard sale. We're only going to put back what they're keeping. Since they've been watching the show too, they're pretty excited. We'll see how it goes. I'll try to post later about how it went. In the meantime, I'm off to watch this morning's episode of Clean Sweep, and then we'll get busy on our own version.
Listening to: "Head Over Heels" by Tears For Fears (it was stuck in my head this morning, so I downloaded it -- I know, I'm evil.)
