Bye Howard, I'm gonna

Bye Howard, I'm gonna miss you(r scream). I was just listening to Howard Dean getting out of the presidential race on Rush Limbaugh. My little dachshund Piglet started growling and barking as soon as she heard Dean's voice, and barked throughout his speech. I thought it was funny.

Anyway, what I was going to write about was how irritating it can be talking politics with someone who doesn't bother to learn anything at all about the issues or the candidates. I know someone like that. Scott and I were talking to her recently about politics. She always votes for Democrats even though she's a conservative Christian. It's because she has always voted for Democrats. She doesn't know about any of the Democrat candidates or what they support. She doesn't like George W. Bush. Does she have a reason? No. She just doesn't like him. I have to believe that it comes from getting all her information from the (liberal biased) network news.

I do know the candidates and the issues. George W. Bush is a doing a great job, and I will vote to re-elect him. I believe he will come much closer to representing my beliefs than any of the Democrat candidates (John Kerry). Even if we could ignore every other issue, we can't trust the Democrats with our national security. They would just like to turn everything over to the UN.
