
Feast your eyes upon this photo. Isn't it just a visual feast? Don't you just sense the hunger in that poor womans' eyes? She was raised in Idaho by sheep ranchers, and was forced to eat meat growing up. That woman is my own sweet mother back in June 1970. My dad was in the Navy at the time, and they had some friends over for dinner. The chicken was taking forever to get done, and I guess this photo was a joke. I thought it would look even better if I did colorization on it to make the chicken really stand out. This is my favorite picture of my mom, which is silly, but then she is silly. Of course, I don't take after her at all, as I'm always completely serious about everything. Right.
