I haven't blogged for a

I haven't blogged for a few days. I never did get terribly sick like Charity -- who is still sick :( , but I was gone the entire day Friday with Scott to pick up Cassandra in Texas for Thanksgiving and sign her marriage license (a really long story -- later). Then yesterday we were gone most of the day shopping and going to the movies. And then today was church and my traditional after-church nap.

So now I am finally up again and blogging with my favorite beverage -- Coca-Cola. I really want water. Scott went to his mom's house to refill our water bottles since we ran out last night. They have a good filter system, and we have terrible well water at our house (oily iron water with a twist of sulfur). We have a saline filter which works pretty well, but not well enough to make it taste good. Plus too much filtration and you get zero water pressure. We have a water cooler, and Scott refills the bottles about once a week. I think we have 7 or 8 of the 5-gallon bottles.

But we do love our country living, as the good outweighs the bad. I love living out in the woods after our experiences with apartments, and even our experiences in houses with close neighbors. And I even love our dirt road. It's so washed out and rutted that no one but those who really want to visit us will venture down it -- or deer hunters.
