We drove to Branson today -- about 3 hours up there. Silly us, we didn't check the calendar, and Silver Dollar City was closed, duh. It was sort of like that "Vacation" movie where Chevy Chase drove across country to Wally World, only it was only a 3 hour drive, and we didn't go buy a gun. Plus we didn't strap a dead woman to the top of the car or get stranded in the desert... okay, nevermind. The point is, we were up there, so we went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not, which was fun. Then we drove up to Springfield to the Bass Pro Shop. I'd never been there before, and Wow.
But the rest will have to wait, as I'm very, very tired. Good-night.
