It's time to write down some stuff before I forget it. I got a call yesterday from Cassandra. She and Mark have now moved to Texas to live with his mother. Well, not technically with, but in her travel trailer. Supposedly there is another trailer that they're getting soon. Anyway, she has called twice since then as well. She has contacted the Relief Society president there, and says she's planning on going to church and that Mark is going to go with her. I don't really know what to think. Well, I do, but I think that will go in "the vault."
Scott and I went out to dinner last night. He wanted to go to the Cracker Barrel, which I knew wasn't going to help me with my WW points. But I found a great website called Dotti's Weight Loss Zone that lists the points for lots of restaurants, and I actually found Cracker Barrel. I printed off the point information and took it with me. I did well, and I only ate about 2/3 of my meal. I calculated my points, and all total, I only had to use 8 of my Flex Points. So I'm really proud of myself. I know that I can actually do this.
Oh, and I must brag on Scott. He's really encouraging me to keep up the good work. He went into town today, and came back (the second time he's done this) with a bunch of Healthy Choice meals for me. There is a ConAgra thrift shop in town that has the entrees for about $1.50 a box. It really helped me last time he did that, as I lost 3.5 lbs. in just one week, and that was without keeping up with my points. He has been learning to cook simple things so that I don't have to cook as often. That helps me because he eats the most fattening stuff. He grew up that way, and he's a really finicky eater. If I modify a recipe to make it heathier, he can always tell. And if I have to cook fattening food, it's really hard for me not to eat it. He gets away with it pretty well, but my body can't handle it. And I'm not terribly motivated to cook for just myself. I make soup that I can eat pretty often, but that's about it.
