Well, I got that far, and had breakfast/lunch and then got a call from an aquaintance who is going to start homeschooling her 15 year old. I ended up talking to her for 2 hours. I think most people who homeschool start because of a horror story of one kind or another. I think that's what it takes for people to really see how much they need to get their kid out of there. To sum this one up, the most recent bad thing that happened with the school was that her daughter was on a school bus with the band going to play at a football game. She was getting bullied by some of the other students until she was crying, and got off the bus. The band teacher and bus driver didn't solve the problem, but just told her to get back on the bus. When she wouldn't and started walking, they LEFT HER because they didn't want to be late for the football game. Anyway, things got worse from there, and her mom was enduring intimidation from the band teacher, etc, being threatened by the school that they were going to file charges with the police because she lost her temper and cussed at them. (Which under the circumstances seems reasonable) Anyway, it was a long, ugly story. And I can relate to it (except it's really easy to intimidate me, LOL). I will have to write down my story of why I started homeschooling later.
So anyway, I haven't done anything else, and I have to leave in an hour to meet Scott. We're going out to dinner, and then grocery shopping. Here is what I might get done before I leave:
#10. Make my bed
#11.
