It's almost that time of

It's almost that time of night when things should be winding down. I made the mistake of asking if I needed to go to the laundry mat on Friday (I usually go anyway to take Bro. Stevers), and Scott interpreted that innocent question as, "Get in there and fix the washer." Oops. So he's in there fixing it, and I feel bad about that. I have some more questions, but now I'm afraid to ask them. :o In my experience men are like that. They feel really obligated to "fix things." And that can be a good thing -- mostly.

Washer Update:
It's DEAD. :( We're going to get another one on Friday. $$$ ~~cha-ching~~ $$$ So much for opening a savings account THIS payday.

Scott sent the kids to bed, but they keep wandering back out of their rooms. Then I took my turn at it. It's funny... They never remember that you sent them there, and they are taken aback when you tell them they're supposed to be in bed.

Oh, and have you ever wondered, "What's that Parmesean smell?" I did tonight, and I knew it wasn't. This time it was Obi (our male sheltie pup). He has some "intestinal distress" this evening. This is the first time he's made a mess in his crate. With Piglet, I could write a book, and it would be called The Many Misadventures of Piglet and Poo.
