I got to go see Cassandra and baby last night. They're already home, and Cassandra was getting around fine -- much better than I ever did after having a baby, especially my first one.
A River Runs Through It
And on a completely different note, I'm sick of rain now. We have a ROARING RIVER running through our yard that I can see from here. Thankfully, we are on top of a very big hill (actually called a mountain in Arkansas), so we are not going to get flooded out.
Congratulations!
Jordon is a beautiful baby.
Message received loud and clear....sorry about that, 2flower!
Posted by: otto at April 25, 2004 11:31 AMLOL, Otto! I wasn't aiming that at you! ;) I just want to make sure that everyone doesn't start calling me granny yet. My dad will anyway because he lives to tease me, but I can just call him great-grandpa.
Posted by: 2flower at April 25, 2004 01:33 PMI will admit, I am relieved! But still, you will not here THAT word come out of my mouth again! =)
Posted by: otto at April 25, 2004 11:14 PMCongrats! I assume 'granny' is out then too?
Posted by: Ted at April 26, 2004 08:59 AMYes Ted, you assume correctly. ;)
Posted by: 2flower at April 27, 2004 07:32 AMSo you own your own river. Not many people can brag of that. Big Hills are called Mountains in Wisconsin too. We have a ski hill in our town. It is called Rib Mountain, but is really just a decent sized hill that is steep enough on one side to ski down.
