buttheads, buttheads everywhere

What can I say -- they are out there and they're making me mad.

Besides the liberal appeaser buttheads like the "johns", there are plenty more out there to irritate me.

I tried to put an internet filter on my daughter's computer that has reporting. It's just a safety precaution. Anyway, I went to check and see if the reporting was working, and according to this wonderful (read: expensive) service, she has been to 0 websites the last 3 days. Thankfully, it was still in the free trial period, so I tried to cancel it. In order to do that, I waited on hold -- long distance. Forget that -- I emailed them. They'd better not charge us. Uninstalling the service was supposed to automatically cancel it, but a message popped up on the screen telling me I had to call. Oh, and when I tried to fill out the reason for cancelling -- I had a good mean rant going on why I was cancelling -- the screen didn't wait for me to finish typing and hit "send" before it rebooted the computer. RRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

So anyway, I've got to continue searching for a good, affordable solution to internet filtering for 3 kids to be online. So far, I haven't found anything that will do everything I want it to for 3 computers at a good price. If only buttheads didn't put crap all over the internet. It would save me a lot trouble.

Brother Stevens is going to have surgery soon. He has cancer in his abdomen around his liver -- that's really all I know. I'm not calling him a butthead, except for the fact that he still wants to go back to that rat-infested hell-hole he calls home. And there's nothing anyone can do about it -- believe me, I checked. He's going to die there. Alone. The only way to clean the place would be to burn it down. If only I could do that before he gets out of the hospital. But arson is illegal -- darn. Seriously, I wish I didn't care so much. But there is no way I can stand to go in there and help him. Sunday was almost more than I could bear -- just being in the doorway.

Okay, I'm not really as mad as I was. It's just been hot and frustrating around here. I thought I was going to have to call some ignorant buttheads about the AC yesterday, but it finally cooled off last night. Our AC (actually a heat pump -- whatever that is) can't keep up when it gets up around 100 degrees. So it ends up being hotter than usual inside on those days. So far, it's cool enough today. Knock on wood. I call the repairmen buttheads because whenever we've had problems "fixed" in the past, it doesn't matter who we call -- at least half the time they fix it -- it isn't. Know what I mean? I don't kinow what the problem is either when these things happen, but I sure as heck would if it were my job and people paid me to fix stuff.

Oh yeah, and I'm out of Coca-cola. Maybe the caffeine-withdrawl is making me see buttheads everywhere.
